Mediation With Purpose
I’m trying to bring something new to mediation, and I want you to experience something better. I was tired of problematic scheduling, exorbitant fees, lack of preparation, pointless number-shuffling, and stale approaches. I was tired of mediators leaning on clients to take undesirable outcomes just for the sake of settlement.
I bring 30+ years of employment law expertise to the table, with reasonable fees and availability, and a commitment to helping parties turn seemingly intractable disputes into durable solutions.
“Mediation With Purpose” is about blending creativity with efficiency, compassion with candor, and empathy with realism. I want to connect with parties and encourage them to be bold and find out what is possible beyond seemingly endless litigation.
Over time, I’ve learned the importance of listening closely and caring deeply about both the parties and the process. I help parties find solutions by exploring every avenue of resolution with honesty and impartiality. I encourage a collaborative approach while appreciating the risks of continued litigation. With focus, creativity, and expertise, durable solutions can be found in even the most contentious cases.
My process is thoughtful, deliberate, and tailored, providing parties with the best available information—both good and bad—about their cases. By the end of my process, parties will have a clear understanding of their best alternative to litigation. The final decision always belongs to the parties; my role is to empower them with clarity and candor. The best-informed decision is the optimal outcome.
