Employment mediation in California is a crowded field. You have lots of choices. Each case is critically important to each party, and I consider it a privilege and an honor to be entrusted with your case.
I am passionate about the process, but agnostic about the outcome. I am not there to decide who gets what; I am driven to give the parties the tools and information they need to make the best decision regarding settlement or further litigation. By leveraging 30 years of employment experience and deeply exploring the strengths/weaknesses and risks/rewards of the case, I will make sure each party has the best information available to make a fully informed decision regarding settlement or continuing with litigation.
My preparation started 30 years ago. Everything in my career has led to this moment. I’ve mediated hundreds of cases as an advocate and have been a mediator since 2022. Hard work has been a hallmark of my career. I read everything and listen carefully to apply my experience and judgment in guiding the parties through difficult strategic decisions.
Whether the mediation lasts a half day or full day, patience is key. Listening empathically to each side, and using collaborative and evaluative techniques requires calm and thoughtful patience which I have developed over many years.
In litigation, I knew I would face lawyers who were smarter or better than I was, but I knew none of them could outwork me. You have many other talented mediators to choose from, but I won’t be outworked. I will work tirelessly during, and even after the mediation session if necessary, to empower you with the best possible information and guidance to reach the absolute best strategic decision for your client.
